What are the benefits of 1-2-1 time with our qualified dog trainers?

Whether you are working towards a particular goal, building strong everyday skills or trying to get your training back on track, we provide calm, clear and practical guidance tailored to you and your dog.

Our trainers have many years of experience working with dogs of all breeds, including those that can be more challenging to train. We will help you understand what to work on, how to practise effectively and how to make lasting progress in everyday life. We will teach you the skills and confidence to carry on the good work at home, helping you develop a strong, trust-based relationship with your dog.

What Can 1-2-1 Dog Training Help With?

Your session will be tailored to your dog, your current level of training and the particular skills or results you would like to achieve.

Individual training sessions can cover a wide range of skills, including:
Recall and loose-lead walking
Focus and engagement
General obedience and life skills
Agility
Scentwork
Advanced sports and competition training
Jumping into the car
Crate training
Our training is calm, treat-based, motivational and realistic. We focus on giving owners the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to train effectively, using methods that work in real-life situations rather than wasting time on approaches that do not produce meaningful results.

Training Or Behaviour Support?

Individual dog training is designed for teaching practical skills, improving obedience and helping you progress with your everyday training.
Training sessions are not suitable for behavioural concerns such as:
Reactivity towards people
Reactivity towards dogs
Aggression
Predatory behaviour
Separation anxiety
Resource guarding
These concerns require a dedicated behaviour consultation with one of our experienced behaviourists.

If you are unsure whether you need 1-2-1 dog training or a behaviour consultation, please contact us before booking. We will be happy to advise you and make sure you receive the most appropriate support.
